Jack Hoogendyk has been the executive director of Hope Life Center, Wausau & Antigo, since April 2013. Before that time, he spent more than a dozen years in sales and marketing including time as the National Sales and Marketing Director for the automotive sector at a Fortune 500 company.
In 1996, Jack left the corporate environment to become the executive director of a pregnancy center in Kalamazoo, Michigan. In 2002, Jack was elected to the Michigan legislature, serving six years as a member of the House of Representatives. After term limits took him out of government, Jack eventually went back to work doing what he loves most, serving the LORD in ministry; life-affirming ministry at Hope Life Center in Wausau, Wisconsin.
Under Jack’s servant-leadership, Hope has grown to offer STD testing and treatment, sexual integrity presentations in schools and, in 2018 the launch of a brand new mobile medical unit.
Jack has been married 42 years to his bride, Erin and together, they have five children, 11 grandchildren and number 12 on the way! Jack is an elder at his church, (effective September, 2018). Jack also serves on the board of Wisconsin Family Council and the Wausau Region Chamber of Commerce.
I would be happy to travel anywhere within 150 miles of Wausau and would only ask for gas mileage, meals and, if needed overnight lodging. I’ll speak to any group of any size; seniors, adults, students, high school or college or even elementary age. I’ll talk on the sanctity of life, the tragedy of abortion and the fight that must continue to bring a culture of life to America. I can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org or 715-470-1003. While I am not a member of a Lutheran Church, my wife grew up LCMS and I am very well acquainted with the LCMS. We have many supporting churches in the LCMS as well as WELS and a couple of ELCA as well.
